Welcome to HER Time

An inclusive football experience designed for all women, regardless of age or ability. Whether you’re completely new to the game or have experience playing, HER Time is a place where you can build fitness, confidence, and friendships in a supportive and empowering environment. Sessions are facilitated by staff and footballers from Lewes FC Women.

Who can attend?

✔ Women of all ages (18+)

✔ All abilities welcome – from complete beginners to experienced players

✔ No prior football experience required

Session details

📅 When? Tuesdays, 9:45 – 10:45 AM (arrive by 9:30 AM) Starting Tuesday Feb 25th-Tuesday April 1st.

📍 Where? The Rookery, Ham Lane, BN7 2XN

Duration?1 hour

💷 Cost? £7 per session

Each session is designed to be fun, engaging, and tailored to all fitness levels. Sessions will include:

Group aims and future plans

HER Time is currently running as an 8-week programme to understand the needs of women in our community. Over these weeks, we will assess:

✔ Whether the current time and day suit participants

✔ The level of interest and the preferred style of football (recreational or competitive)

✔ The commitment levels to continue the programme beyond 8 weeks

✔ Opportunities for new volunteer coaches and leaders to emerge

✔ The potential to develop a longer-term women’s football initiative.

Session structure

🕤 9:30 AM – Arrive at the 3G Pitch

🤝 9:40 AM – Group welcome, introductions and motivational start

🏃‍♀️ 9:45 AM – Warm-up and activation game

⚽ 10:00 AM – Skills and learning development

🎯 10:15 AM – Fun football games and small-sided matches

🔄 10:45 AM – Cool down and closing chat
