Lewes FC Vets membership

Membership is currently CLOSED as we are at capacity.

We will not hold a waiting list and will reopen applications in January 2025.

Membership

Our 110 members (including our team of volunteer facilitators and organisers, known as The Boot Room) each contribute £33 per month.

Most of this goes towards the £16,000+ we raise in 3G pitch fees, which:

  • Supports Lewes FC’s drive for on-the-pitch success.

  • Contributes to our Friends of the 3G fund.

We are a constituted community group and not-for-profit, donating 15% of our cash reserves to charity each year.

Last year, we raised over £3,000 for Ukrainian charities.

Playing in the Sussex Sunday League

Members are eligible to play for our three teams in the Sussex Sunday Football League. These teams are selected traditionally, in what we call competitively-selected games.

Drop-in players are not eligible to play for Lewes FC Vets.

Old Quality League

Members can also participate in the Old Quality League, where we field three teams from our membership alongside seven external teams.

  • These games feature a poem about friendship and a strict no slide tackling rule.

  • The league is run with a "Don’t Be a D**k” philosophy—promoting fairness, inclusivity, and compassion.

Membership Perks
